Mavera, a Verisk business, is a Swedish insurtech company. Since 2008 we help insurers streamline personal injury claims. Combining extensive industry knowledge with advanced AI technology Mavera makes the insurance claims process more accurate, efficient and compliant. Mavera Decision Support System (DSS) enables better decision making and business reporting for the customers, who are some of Europe’s leading insurance companies.

In 2023, Mavera was acquired by leading global data analytics provider Verisk and since may 2024 this is also manifested in the company name by changing it to "Mavera, a Verisk business".

Mavera announces new ownership

We are happy to announce that Mavera has new ownership in leading global data analytics provider Verisk.

Our story

Mavera was founded in 2008 by Mario Pereira on a belief that everybody is entitled to fair and efficient claims assessments. At that time, he worked as a claims adjuster, but with his background in IT, he quickly realized how he could make the process faster and more reliable.

We are certified according to ISO 27001

To put it simply, we know what we are doing when it comes to information security, and our management systems fulfill the high requirements of the global standard.
